Mandag 17. mai starter Den europeiske folkehelseuka. Flere titalls arrangementer strømmes via nett, og det er mye forskjellig å velge mellom. Vi har samlet noen her.

Mandag 17. mai – Formidle helseinformasjon og vitenskap

  • Infodemic management: from listening to public health action (engelsk)
    Join WHO on this webinar to learn how social media listening can inform the COVID-19 response; what is done with the information we get through social media listening and the role of trusted influencers in the COVID-19 response. With welcome remarks by EUPHA President Iveta Nagyova to kick off the European Public Health Week.

Tirsdag 18. mai – Nye utfordringer ved mental helse 

  • COVID-19 impact on people with mental health conditions and beyond (engelsk)
    This joint event by EUPHA and GAMIAN-Europe will kick off the theme of day 2 of EUPHW. It will include an overview of public mental health in Europe by Prof Jutta Lindert, COVID-19 impact on mental health by Dan Chisholm (WHO) and the presentation of findings of a survey conducted by GAMIAN-Europe on the impact of the pandemic on people with pre-existing mental health conditions.     This is a joint event by EFAD and EUPHA to kick off the Thursday theme of EUPHW, «All for one health». Confirmed speakers include Giuseppe Grosso (EUPHA Food and Nutrition Section), Marija Jevtic and Sara Savic (EUPHA Environment and Health Section), Manuel Monino (EFAD’s ESDN Public Health) and Elenora Lano (Slow Food). Fredag 21. mai – Forhindre økt sosial ulikhet på grunn av pandemien

  • Current debate of ethnic inequity in health in Norway and Denmark (engelsk)
    This webinar includes presentations of and reflections on results on immigrant-related inequities in COVID-19 (Norway), Delphi-recommendations to promote ethnic health equity (Denmark), and co-created communication tools to address COVID-19 in neighborhoods with many ethnic minorities. Institutions: Norwegian Institute of Public Health, Danish Society of Public Health and University of Copenhagen.

  • Caregiving dyads living with dementia during COVID-19 (engelsk)
    This webinar is for all who are interested in health and social services for people with dementia and their caregivers. COVID-19 has restricted social participation and social support services for caregiving dyads. We will present findings about living with dementia during the pandemic from three caregiving dyads in Germany.

  • COVID-19 & Health Inequalities: applying the lessons to deliver change (engelsk)
    COVID-19 has exacerbated health inequalities that pervade our societies. The momentum is there to ‘build back better’. At this webinar, Prof. Clare Bambra will set out the findings of her upcoming book, «The Unequal Pandemic: COVID-19 and health inequalities». Subsequent speakers will focus on practical measures that can be taken to e.g., improve the situation of vulnerable children and migrants, and make decision making processes more representative.
